Meet Sinéad Beauty

Sinéad Beauty is a beauty brand located in Norfolk, Massachusetts focused on skin health and getting to the center of skin issues. Sinéad offers services including skin consultations, a variety of facials and waxing, red light therapy, procell microchanneling, dermoplaning, and more. They also primarily work with skin care brand, Environ, which uses Vitamin A as a cornerstone ingredient, helping skin to be”beautiful and healthy for life.”

The beauty brand serves anyone in the area looking for help to best treat their skin from years of damage, sun exposure, or simple maintenance. One happy client describes her time at Sinéad’s as a “very relaxing and professional experience! [She] left feeling relaxed and [her] skin feeling rejuvenated & soothed.” 

The Story Behind the Brand

Sinéad Beauty is the namesake of owner Sinéad O Sullivan. O Sullivan trained in Ireland where she worked for four years in the industry before moving to the US to continue her practice. She continued to soak up all the information and experience she could for the next five years before deciding to open her own salon in her home town of Norfolk, Massachusetts in 2022. 

With more than fifteen years of experience in the beauty industry and training through CIDESCO of Ireland, the world’s most prestigious qualification for Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy, Sinéad has the knowledge and background to find what works best for each customer coming through her door.

Inside the Photoshoot Experience

Working with Sinéad and her all-women team, Amy, Katherine, and Lily, was overall a fantastic experience. It was great to witness the general comradery and uplifting spirit among the women and to be a part of it even just for a short time. 

I helped guide the ladies through each pose but it was great to have them to help each other out too. For their individual headshots they were making sure hair was in place, uniforms looked neat, and each person was camera ready. For the images with the women I wanted to show this bright feeling that they exude along with the already bright and airy space.

The Vision & Creative Direction

Along with the rest of the Local Business Spotlight Series, Sinéad Beauty’s brand photoshoot was shot in their own space at 65 Holbrook Street, Suite 140, in Norfolk, Massachusetts. The space, to me, was exactly what I would want in a beauty care establishment. The lobby and storefront area had large windows welcoming in natural light while the treatment rooms themselves were warm and cozy. For the images of the spaces I enjoyed focusing on what made them special – the products of the store and the personal touches by the estheticians in each of their treatment rooms. 

After having already captured the team’s group and individual headshot photos, I was excited to capture what made the space special in addition to what makes the team so special. I love any brand that welcomes you in with open arms as one of their own and I especially love an all women team like this one showing how important it is for women to build each other up and showcase their talents as well as own why they are good at what they do and why you’ll want to work with them.

What We Captured (And Why It Matters)

As with all the shoots from the Local Business Spotlight Series, this photoshoot only took about fifteen minutes. But, in those fifteen minutes we were able to capture a lot of valuable content! We started out with a few photos of the entire team. We then moved on to headshots of each team member and after that the team was done with their close-ups and the space itself became the star. 

I captured the lobby and storefront space and the products that stand out for customers to purchase – even if they’re not signed up for a treatment that day. I then focused on each of the treatment rooms, capturing them overall and then on close-ups of the unique features in each space. 

Each of these types of brand photography are a huge help to have in a business’s library for use on any marketing collateral such as printed brochures and flyers, social media announcements and posts, website “about” pages and more. 

In doing their research, potential clients will be able to see what they’ll be walking into before they even enter the lobby. As a beauty branding photographer in Massachusetts I know how impactful photos like these can be for bringing in more work, establishing a brand, and showing their professionalism and how much they care.

How Sinéad Beauty Can Use These Photos

As I mentioned, the photos from this gallery can be used in any number of ways. Sinéad Beauty will have Instagram content for weeks, if not months, just from this short fifteen minute shoot. They’ll be able to update their “meet the team” page with fresh new headshots and they can use the photos as part of larger graphics when making announcements or updating their clients on the latest store happenings. 

Sinéad expressed that she wanted these brand photos to help bring in new clients as well as to promote their newest esthetician, Lily. And I think we did just that! They can now use these photos in any marketing collateral and set themselves apart from their competition in the Norfolk, Massachusetts community.
