Behind the Scenes of a Revival Wellness Studio Branding Photoshoot 

Revival Wellness Studio has been a part of the Medfield, Massachusetts community for nearly two and a half years. As a Medfield branding photographer working with local businesses, I love highlighting spaces that are built with intention – and Revival is a perfect example. The owner, Marissa Mihos, describes Revival as “a thoughtfully designed wellness studio where science-backed modalities meet restorative ritual.”

 From the moment I walked in, that intention was clear. The space feels calm, welcoming, and intentionally designed to help you slow down. Marissa and I immediately connected over our shared passion for helping women feel good in their bodies (even though our approaches are different). At Revival, her goal is to help people “who want to regulate their nervous system, reduce stress, recover well, and feel better in their bodies — without overwhelm.”

The Detail Breakdown — What We Set Out to Accomplish

During our initial conversations, Marissa shared that she wanted imagery that truly reflected the experience of walking into Revival Wellness. Because the studio is tucked away and still growing its presence in Medfield, having strong, cohesive visuals was key to helping new clients discover and connect with the space.

Her goals included:

• Creating content for Instagram, Facebook, and her website
• Showcasing newer services like the sauna, BalancerPro (lymphatic drainage suit), and cold plunge
• Attracting a wider audience, including younger clients while continuing to serve women in their 30s–60s

Going into the session, my focus was to create a gallery that felt cohesive, elevated, and aligned with her existing brand while – giving potential clients a clear preview of what they could expect before ever stepping inside.

We focused on capturing not just the space, but the feeling of being there – quiet moments, thoughtful details, and the overall sense of calm that defines the Revival experience.
