Emma Lula Creative is officially three! 🥳
I can’t believe it’s already been three years since I started this little business of mine! Every year has looked a little different, and this past year brought some fun new projects, exciting milestones, and plenty of ideas for what’s next. From publishing another coloring book to growing my branding photography portfolio, here’s a little look at what I’ve been up to!

One of my biggest creative projects this year was publishing my second coloring book on Amazon, Keepsakes & Collectibles: A Cozy & Relaxing Coloring Book! My first book, Hobbies, came out last year, so getting to create another collection of illustrations and turn them into a real book has been so exciting. I love finding new ways to share my artwork, and I’m looking forward to exploring even more ideas with this side of the business!

This year, I also created a separate Instagram account for my illustrations, @emmalula.art, alongside my photography account, @emmalulacreative.
I’ve always loved having both photography and illustration as part of my business, but having a dedicated space for my art gives me more room to share new drawings, designs, and products. The two sides of my business are different, but they also inspire each other in ways I really love!
On the photography side, I worked with more branding clients this year than ever before! It’s been exciting to continue growing this part of my business and work with more small business owners who want photos that feel natural and true to them.
I love getting to meet people who are passionate about what they do and helping them create images they can use to show up confidently in their businesses. I hope next year will bring even more business owners my way to help them too!

I’ve been working on adding more of my art products online this year, from color-your-own bookmarks to digital downloads in my Etsy shop! I also added a Shop page to my website, along with a Shop Favorites page where you can find some of my favorite products, art, and other creative finds. It’s been fun finding new ways to share what I make and giving people more ways to shop my work and things I’ve been loving!

Another new addition this year was starting my newsletter, Lula Letters! I wanted a way to share updates, new projects, behind-the-scenes peeks, and little things I’m excited about beyond what followers will see on social media.

If you’d like to keep up with my photography, art, and latest projects, sign up for my newsletter here! I’d love to have you along for the ride!
It’s a little wild to think I’ve been running Emma Lula Creative for three years already! I’m always coming up with new ideas for this business, and I love that I get to keep exploring different ways to be creative, whether that’s through photography, illustration, or something entirely new.
I have plenty of ideas I’d love to bring to life in year four, and I’m excited to keep figuring things out as I go!
Thank you to everyone who’s booked a photo session, purchased my art, shared my work, referred a friend, or followed along with what I’m doing. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just found me recently, I’m so happy you’re here!
Here’s to another year of creating, trying new things, and seeing where Emma Lula Creative goes next! 💛
